Wood Care
Proper humidity and level temperature is key to ensuring natural products such as leather and wood stay true to quality. Always make sure to do the following:
- Avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight and rearrange accessories from time to time to prevent spot bleaching. This causes darker finishes to lighten and sometimes cause lighter finishes to darken.
- For daily maintenance go simple. Use clean and soft cotton rags or cloths to wipe off dust on the surface along the grains. Never use damp rags or anything with a hard surface to rub onto the furniture. Always keep the surface clear of any acid or chemical substances.
- In order to avoid any damages, defects or issues from occurring, refrain from stacking large and/or heavy objects on top of the furniture. Use coasters or felt pads underneath objects if possible.
- Keep furniture away from heating and air conditioning sources to prevent loss of moisture in wood.
